JC Escudero

JC Escudero is the CEO and co-founder of J Designs Pool & Spa. He has spent more than 20 years working hands-on in the swimming pool industry and has been involved in the construction, renovation, and technical development of more than 2,000 pools and spas throughout Southern California. JC's experience goes far beyond building pools. Over the years, he has developed extensive knowledge of hydraulics, equipment, automation, structural and hillside construction, water features, specialty finishes, and water treatment systems. He is often the person our team turns to when a project presents a difficult technical challenge. He also believes that experience should never replace continued education. JC continues to expand his knowledge through the International Watershape Institute and other advanced industry training so he can stay current with construction methods, technical standards, and evolving pool technology. When JC contributes to the J Designs blog, his goal is simple. He wants homeowners to understand what is happening behind the scenes of their pool project, why certain details matter, and what they should know before making important decisions about their pool.
