(Los Angeles, State)— J Designs Pool and Spa is proud to announce they are the recipient of a 2023 International Award of Excellence from the Pool & Hot Tub Alliance (PHTA), the trade association representing the swimming pool, hot tub, and spa industry. J Designs Pool and Spa won the Merit Award for a freeform renovation.
PHTA’s International Awards of Excellence program is one of the pool and hot tub industry's largest, most well-renowned design competitions. These distinguished awards recognize exceptional installations of pools, spas, hot tubs, and water features that showcase the most beautiful, creative, and innovative work in the industry. Each year, hundreds of entries are submitted from across the U.S. and the world.
The competition is open to pool, spa, or hot tub builders as well as installers, designers, retailers, or service companies that receive payment for the submitted project. Entries are judged by an elite team of professionals who work in the design, construction, and service sectors of the industry.
“We are incredibly honored to receive this PHTA Award of Excellence,” says JC Escudero, Founder, and co-owner of J Designs Pool and Spa. “We want to thank everyone who was involved with this project. The team really went above and beyond to create an innovative and beautiful pool, and we couldn’t be prouder of the finished product.”
Founder and co-owner, JC Escudero, has seen and done nearly everything in the pool industry! By forming a personal relationship with each of his clients, he ensures the final product reflects their vision and lifestyle.
JC has been in the pool and spa industry since 2001 when he moved back to the U.S. and joined the family business. By 2009, JC had already worked on 1,200+ swimming pool projects.
Currently, JC operates J Designs Pool & Spa with his longtime life partner, Liliana, President, and co-owner of the company. Like two sides of a coin, Liliana’s administrative experience, and JC’s creativity balance each other perfectly.
